Functional Form
The hardware was supplied by Thorens, the Swiss manufacturer of precision turntables. The kit dictated the engineering design of this turntable. The platter and pick-up were mounted on a sub-frame suspended by leaf springs and tension cables, the kinematics of which were worked out with great accuracy.
